Remarks:  Only those who are over the age of 16 and have the right to reside or  stay in Macao can apply for the visiting permit.

 

Application Procedures and Documents:

Please apply the visiting permit in person and submit the following documents:

1.         Certificate of Imprisonment Application Form  (Application Form could be collected in person or downloaded from the Macao Prison website);

2.          Copy of valid identification document(s);

3.         Copy of marriage certificate if applicable.

Note:

-        When copies are submitted for application, originals should be presented for verification.

-        In order to minimize the queueing time, applicants are advised to make an appointment with the social workers before coming to the Prison to apply for the certificate.

　

　

Fee:  Free

 

Processing Time:        Within 8 days (upon receipt of all necessary documents).

Note:  A temporary receipt will be prepared for the applicant (upon approval).  He/she should bring along the temporary receipt in exchange for the visiting permit at the Macao Prison – Registration Section or the Macao Prison Service and Information Centre after 8 working days.
