Each year, recreational and sports activities are organized at irregular intervals.

Inmates with children under 16 years old may apply to join the
Child Support Programme. In this programme, inmates can meet their kids on Sundays. By playing games and receiving guidance from social workers, closer relationships can be developed between parents and kids.

Inmates are provided with telephone privileges upon approval in order to keep in touch with their family members.

An inmate may receive a maximum of six visitors.

Within the fixed visiting periods, each inmate shall be allowed up to one hour per week for family visits.

Inmates may write letters to family members and friends.

Inmates’ religious rights of all faiths are protected. They are allowed to keep religious items approved by the Prison.

The Prison has established a complaint mechanism so that complaints by inmates may be submitted to the departments concerned.
